Exciting Opportunity for Band 6 Occupational Therapist - In Manchester
MedicsPro Recruitment are currently looking for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work in an ongoing community respiratory role based with and NHS client based in Manchester.

Successful candidate will be working with individuals with long term respiratory conditions. The OT would also be. OTs will also be responsible for the

The role is Full Time Hours, Mon-Fri. Ongoing Contract.

Excellent umbrella rates available.

Key Responsibilities:

* Empowering patients to participate more fully in daily tasks when compromised by a health
condition.
* Addressing aspects of performance to support engagement in occupations affecting health
and well-being.
* Selecting and adapting appropriate occupational therapy treatment methods.
* Evaluating patient conditions and needs.
* Developing treatment plans to help patients meet specific goals.
* Responsible for individual assessments and equipment provision, coping strategies, energy
conservation and discussing anxiety
* Pre assessment and delivery of pulmonary rehabilitation courses to groups- in person and
virtually via MS Teams with a physiotherapist
